Hello, my name is [Name], and I’m a volunteer collecting signatures to help place the Fix Prop 19 initiative on the November 2026 ballot.
Many California families are seeing large property tax increases when they inherit a home, sometimes forcing seniors and families to sell properties that have been in their families for generations. This initiative would allow voters to decide whether to restore previous property tax protections for inherited homes.
Signing the petition does not mean you are voting for or against the measure — it simply gives Californians the chance to vote on it.
Would you be willing to sign to help put this on the ballot?
Hello, we’re gathering signatures to place the Fix Prop 19 initiative on the November 2026 ballot. Many families and seniors are facing major property tax increases when they inherit a home, sometimes forcing them to sell properties that have been in their families for generations. This initiative gives voters the chance to restore fair property tax protections and help keep family homes affordable. Signing today simply allows Californians to vote and decide the issue themselves. Would you be willing to sign the petition to help put it on the ballot?
If you care about Prop 13, you'll care about Prop 19.
EVENTS. Hold signs, banners, draw attention with media crew. We will need volunteers to help out at tables to get signatures. For the loud ones, they can use megaphone and make announcements that people are welcome to come sign the petition to help Save Your Children's Future. For the shy ones, they can help explain how to fill out the form and where to sign their name. Let’s try to have two or more tables out every week. Two volunteers per table at different street corners. Tell us Events.
