Looks like the financial promise to Firefighers for increased funds from Prop 19 is a bust! Two years after Prop 19 passed - still no extra funds to firefighers and debate over how much money Prop 19 will bring in. According to California Senator Catherine Blakespear's testimoney at the SC4 hearing, the math is all wrong. Prop 19 won't generate the millions promised. And Assessors are seeing rising costs and huge backlogs trying to enforce the Prop 19 BEAST. You can't escape it! Unless you Repeal it! (2022, September 10).
