Learn to be a Signature Gatherer = Circulator =  Petition Circulator = Canvasser.

• You do NOT need to be a Californian to gather.
• You don't have to be a voter or citizen to help. Must be 18 years or older.
• Wear a badge that reads: Unpaid Volunteer. Add #FixProp19 and our QR code.

• Must show Signers the Official Top Funders Sheet. The sheet must be added to the petition above the signature section or accompany the petition. 
• Print a new one each month. Look under our initiative, then click Official Top Funders List for the month you are in.
• Please note: not all circulating petitions will require an Official Top Funders Disclosure statement. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW IF NEED ONE.

EVENTS. Hold signs, banners, draw attention with media crew. We will need volunteers to help out at tables to get signatures. For the loud ones, they can use megaphone and make announcements that people are welcome to come sign the petition to help Save Your Children's Future. For the shy ones, they can help explain how to fill out the form and where to sign their name. Let’s try to have two or more tables out every week. Two volunteers per table at different street corners.

Fill out the Declaration of Circulator in its entirety. Send us back the petition. We do NOT need any other paper from the Petition Package.

Use your business or home or a common area

Be a Pickup Site If people don't have printers, they can come to your location to pick up a petition. Fill out PDA Form.

Be a Drop Off Site Can they drop off their petition? PDA Form.

Review the map. Some allow 10-25 free printing a day. Most you pay for prints.

Ask if you can leave some items at a designated area. 

Find the schedule and look for workshops that have Estate Planners and then go and try to hand to people before/after the meeting.

• In search, look for groups. Example, type in “Chamber of Commerce” add a city. Join one. Add a comment. Example, Small business need to #FixProp19. Add a photo - one of our marketing pieces, is better for the algorithm, that is, helps boost our presence online. Once you join, you can find one of our posts and “Share” to a Group. Select a group.

We are mobilizing to contact as many Senators and Representatives as possible to push for a Constitutional Amendment. Legislators submit initiatives for a vote every MAY and OCTOBER, and we need to ensure #FixProp19 is on the agenda! We have already prepared the documents—making it easy for lawmakers to act.

📌 ACTION STEP: Use our script to call or email your representatives today. Your persistence matters! 

A Governor’s Executive Order could provide relief and reverse the damaging effects of Prop 19. While this is a challenging route, we are actively engaging in efforts to make this a viable solution.
