POSSIBLE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY PRINTING

CA Library Printing Policies - some are FREE

  • It's been reported that some CA public libraries will print 20-25 free pages (per day).
  • You must call your branch to learn their policies.
  • Please fill in your County Library Printing Policy Form if you don't see below.
  • SOME LIBRARIES MAY NOT KNOW,  SHOW THEM THEIR POLICY BELOW.

Bay Area South Bay

South Bay Libraries do not offer free printing service:

  • Los Altos Main Library
  • Woodland Library
  • Mt. View Library
  • Sunnyvale Library

Not all of these belong to the Santa Clara County Library network, but I think other libraries in the network likely don’t provide free printing either.

Santa Clara County

Payment in full will be required before printing or copying. Their policy.

Los Angeles County

Printing is free up to the first 10 pages (per day); each additional page is 15¢.

Their policy.

San Francisco County

Library card holders are eligible for $2 of free copying/printing per patron per day. Use your library card number to log into library computers or when sending mobile print jobs for free printing. Complete information Chinese 中文資訊  Spanish Español.

San Mateo County

These libraries in San Mateo will print 25 free copies daily. Their policy.

Write down family members library card #s and make additional 25 cent copies.

I find it easier to just bring a copy and sign in with library card to print rather than use their

submit tool. https://smcl.org/printanywhere/
